Inspired by artist Lynn Hershman Leeson’s exploration of self-perception and biology, I designed three magazine spreads based on an interview by Living Content. The layouts treat text and design as equal partners, reflecting the experimental and boundary-pushing nature of her work.

 Process by Design: I translated Leeson’s scientific and unconventional methods into typographic choices that break the grid, layering text and visuals to highlight her unique, often bizarre approach. The spreads balance clarity and experimentation, letting design and text communicate together.
