This 11” × 17” handmade book explores bookmaking, experimental typesetting, and the interplay of image and text. Centered on Pablo Neruda’s Ode to Typography, its printed on cardstock and bound with a coptic stitch variation that removes the gutter, allowing each spread to be viewed in full.

 Process by Design: I broke traditional typesetting rules by running text across the gutter, emphasizing typography as both form and meaning. Photographs of my own hands were integrated to create a tactile, emotional layer, making the reading experience as much about feeling as it is about seeing.
